- First off the picture is amazing, it up coverts 1080p pictures to a really nice clarity on my 4K tv.
- Solid player, remote is fine, and picture quality is exceptional. It upscales DVD's to at least 1080, they look every bit as good as native BluRay.
- Installation and setup was simple, unit works very well, stunning picture with old DVDs.
- I was looking forward to the smart functions, but they simply do NOT work. It is a fine Blu-Ray player, but I expected more.
- This is an average 3D blue ray player but it had a picture issues that I had to do a power cycle to fix it other than that it works fine.
- Discs play quickly and picture quality on both disc and TV channel's is excellent.
- This is one of the few machines with a Blu-ray player, dual Freeview tuner, HDD recorder, and SmartTV in the same box.
- Great picture quality. Highly recommend.
- Image quality is slightly worse than the tuner in my Sony TV.
- Main thing for me is the TV guide is SOOO slow to navigate. There is at least a half second delay when moving up or down the channels.
- Put a SDXC AVCHD card in and got the best picture I have ever seen of our video taken with a HD camcorder. Broadcast quality in my opinion.
- Netflix interface seems pretty nice. The graphics and program presentation is pretty snappy.
- The DLNA transfer plays distorted poor quality video, no matter the format.
- Loses wifi connection and and application passwords (e.g Netflix).
- Really let me down miracast. It just did not work. Player worked briefly with my phone, but kept disconnecting.
- Flexible recording - record 2 things at once whilst watching a third.
- Pause live TV. Didn't think I'd use this feature half as much as I do! It's great to be able to get a cup of tea, take a phone call etc and just pick up where you left off!
- If your watching TV when a programmed recording starts, your viewing gets interrupted - annoying.
- It seems Panasonic has put a cheap low end processor in this machine and also probably skimped on RAM, which would be fine if this was a cheap recorder, but its not.
- Smart functions are slow - slow loading for netflix and on demand channels, slow navigation in channel 4 and BBC apps, although netflix is not too bad.
- Surprisingly one of the few remaining models equipped with digital optical as opposed to just coaxial digital which my minimalist set-up has zero use for.
- Player is very light in weight not like the older versions but it's functions & controls, video is top notch!
- Important feature: this player has rear ports for LAN, HDMI and TOSLINK optical audio.
- Perfectly functioning home stereo equipment. The connection is stable and easy set up.
- Does not have two HDMI outputs only one. Remote is too small for man hands.
- If you have a surround sound system connected to your TV via HDMI (with ARC support) then the audio return channel (ARC) works well and supports 5.1 Dolby surround sound.
- The Panasonic also supports control via the HDMI cable so if your TV supports this function then you can control many aspects from your TV remote.
- This Panasonic player does NOT have separate jack sockets for connecting to a sound system.
- Player can have only few connections (only one HDMI).
- Navigation with the remote lags as you move one line at a time, making browsing very frustrating.
