My viewers on Twitch reported that the gameplay came through at very good resolution and frame rate and this device was particularly good value for money.
This is a fantastic product with a high quality resolution, it performs extremely well and is well worth the price.
Good high resolution recording, software not bad but can get better depending on what you want to use for, records well for youtube or any other video site.
Great resolution, and unlimited full high definition 1080p capture, completely lag-free.
I think this was disappointing as it has several limitations. On a PS3 it will only allow 1080i max resolution and will only record in boring stereo.

The Elgato captures great quality video without any issue. Its very easy to setup.
Highly distinctive product as the contour of the Elgato HD is smooth and shaped like a pill. Used for gaming my 'not to be mention' games and the resolution is fantastic!
Very high resolution video capture card that works with almost everything.
The editing software and interface works really well for what you pay. I really would recommend this product.
There's a slight delay between when you make & see an input on the TV, and when it appears on the computer, meaning you still need to use the TV to play the games without the delay.

Great size to fit with my other gear when travelling, never had an issue since purchase.
Also, it's the size of your hand basically. And it only requires 3 wires!
Small device in comparison to others on the market (size of an iphone).
I was looking for, as it is small, light weight and i watched some videos on youtube to see what the quality was like. And it's awesome.
Easy to connect, it's very small and light and it comes with a HDMI cable.

A fantastic help to bring recorded game play to life!! Perfect size, really easy to set up, instructions are very easy to follow and a really good quality!
It's very small so does not get in the way. Captures perfectly with no lag.
Anyway, it's a small, simple device which gives quality video recordings.
The good aspects are that it is small and quite compatible and easy for travel. It is also easy to capture game play.
The Elgato HD60 is so small and light weight that you could take it anywhere such as your friends house etc.

The Software supplied is easy to understand after those first few goes. You don’t need to be some crazy tech wizard to get the best out of it. Highly recommended!
The software is simple and easy to navigate and the 'always recording' feature is amazing and surprised no ones thought of that sooner.
I like this game capture device because it is very easy to set up and use and the software is brilliant for a novice youtuber like me.
This hardware is NOT compatible with OBS software on Mac.
Cannot add in external audio track, and I found the in-software commentary recorder was massively out of sync with the game.

Elgato HD60 Game Capture Card

The Elgato software allows you to stream straight from the software. If you use other streaming programs the Elgato video signal can easily be picked up by these programs.
The Elgato software also has a time machine like feature, meaning if you have the software open, even if your not recording, you can go back and watch footage.
I have tried it on my PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Wii U and all look superb with a decent contrast and sound quality when recording.
If your using PS4, you must disable HDCP when you use the Elgato, this means some programs won't be allowed to run.
I'm a mac user and Twitch streamer. Although the card works well and the software is fine, it is not compatible with OBS or Xsplit on a Mac.
