- Effective and efficient at data transfer and storage
- Big capacity, super-fast portable drive.
- The drive has a quiet low hum when operating but is significantly quieter than many other drives of a similar storage capacity.
- I'm very happy with my new hdd It is easy to take wherever you go, and has ample capacity up to 1TB.
- The hardware is very good - compact and lightweight with good capacity and speed.
- Neat littledrive with large capacity. Seems to work flawlessly under windows 10.
- I can't see there being an issue with it but for the price and hard drive capacity it was a great but.
- Good capacity for a good price. Bit shiny plastic tbh and not a designer product but hey ho what do you need it for?
- SSDs are too expensive at this capacity to use as USB storage (for me) but I've used Maxtor products since 1995 without obvious issues over others. Stick with a main brand.
- A very large capacity portable hard drive.
- Sleek and stylish look - yet practical and robust
- The durable black design stands up to the rigors of daily use.
- This is a good drive - it is fast, compact and has a huge capacity.
- I was tempted by this one because of the physical size/drive capacity ratio - it's physically very small.
- Found these to be almost as light in weight, just a mm or two thicker but cheaper.
- It looks good and it's the small size you'd expect of a portable drive. All good and no complaints!
- I have a similar product but it is 1TB and this one is the same size as it and about the same weight which is great as it is so portable.
- The hardisk worked as expected and durable (used it for almost a year now) yet compact!
- 2.5 size drive size so very neat and tidy
- Best to transfer a folder at a time depending on size.
- Ability to create 'Secure Drives' which are password protected.
- There is also a secure feature to encrypt it so that only you can access the data stored if it gets stolen.
- Quick speeds at USB 3.0 (your laptop/computer must have a blue USB 3.0 port in order to make use of this feature, if it doesn't you likely have a standard USB 2.0 connection)
- No recovery for the Secure Drive. (I forgot mine and to this day am unable to access the items which are stored in it).
- The Windows feature for this often refuses to eject the drive.
- No software to install simply plugged in the usb and was recognised at once.Backup software appears to be installed on the drive but I prefer my own tied and trusted software so deleted the supplied ones.
- Manual still mentions tray icons and use of "the Safely Remove Hardware" feature which do not exist in Windows 10, so ignore that.
- The software provided with the user manuals was great simple yet elegant and had some interesting features such as creating invisible partitions that are password protected.. great for protecting privacy.
- Excellent hard drive with the features as described by the seller. I use it to back up my daily work at the office.
- It contains automatic backup software so it will back up your computer with all changes since your last backup – a terribly convenient feature.
