- I am delighted, with a little patience it is so easy to use, (I am an ol timer) no messing with video machines manually changing channels on the TV.
- Provides an excellent 'live' image and the recordings are also of a very good quality. I would have not hesitation in recommending this product.
- I'm very happy with really good quality images and easy to use interface.
- It looks good, TV guide is very good and I am happy with picture Quality. It was also easy to set up.
- Not the best performance it does have problems with catch up t.v, it freezes halfway through a programme sometimes.
- Simple to use. Very good video. Highly recommended.
- The HD picture quality and electronic program guide are excellent and with two tuners it should manage most recording requirements.
- The controls are really easy to use and set up was very simple and only took a few minutes.
- Brilliant freesat box. Does every thing you want it to and no contract.
- The storage is good. No more having to delete things for lack of space.
- There is a great selection of channels on Free-Sat, enough for me, & for free, as an OAP that'll do me.
- There is one problem, only minor if I count not being able to watch ITV a minor problem.
- The only indication that a recording is actually happening is a tiny "REC" symbol on the display which cannot be seen from more than 2 feet away!
- I only have one little gripe about this box, & that is the start up, it starts every time on the home screen, I find this very annoying
- The box doesn't cope so smoothly with telling you that two recordings have been scheduled so you have to stop watching a third channel.
- What a delight it has been, responsive and easy to use. It also works well with their Freesat app.
- A great piece of kit, I am very satisfied. There are over 100 free channels and overall i'm very happy with Freesat and this Humax box.
- The Freesat system takes a little getting used to but it's pretty simple in its interface.
- This box records two programmes simultaneously and, although I haven't yet tried it I believe you can watch a playback programme at the same time as well.
- The first I saw was faulty from the start with only one ‘channel’ (TV).
- Very easy to install. I just connected the plug, and the HDmi cable. The auto install doing the rest, with me only having to type in my postcode via remote.
- The unit itself is a nice quality looking shiny black and it looks nice on the shelf beneath my tv, the remote is also shiny black and looks nice.
- The channels are easy to set up, the initial set up took about two minutes, and the picture is good quality, you even get a HDMI cable with the unit so you only need to plug and play.
- We have been very pleased with the product. Following on from a prompt delivery I found it was quite easy to set up.
- The buttons (8 months after purchase) on the remote are already wearing away.
- I'am very happy with excellent remote control.
- I find the remote very nicely designed and fit in my hand snugly, clicking smoothly between channels.
- We were both amazed at how good the Humax is, easy to set up, easy to use menu/remote, great picture arguably better than the paid option in most cases.
- The only down-side is the remote makes the most annoying clicking sound when you press the buttons.
- The remote control is another matter. All the buttons are there, but for me they are not in the most logical place or of appropriate size.
- I'm happy that I can play my own own files via the front USB port and it happily played my photos and video clips transferred from my PC by pen drive.
- Great for recording Series etc, (compared to cheaper boxes) Play your films through usb. I would recommend this box to anyone.
- Very happy with the channel choice and the built in media player so you can play movies from a USB key. Best part is no monthly subscription costs!
- No built-in Wi-Fi for Free-Time function?!! only Ethernet.
- I was unable to watch movies from USB or via the DLNA Media server as the box now refuses to recognise the aspect ratio of a wide screen movie so everything appears too tall.
- The big bonus for me is the wi fi, not having to run cables across the floor.
- Seriously good picture quality, USB for movies/pictures gain great quality.
- Absolutely brilliant. It can even plug a usb into the box to play movies. Transfer files, copy, play record, catch up.
- The USB port is used for input only and only supports a limited range of photos / video /music formats.
- Accessing the USB stick could be a bit more straightforward though as it is not plainly visible from the main menu.
