SKY PLUS + HD BOX – 500GB (250Hrs) – MODEL DRX890 WITH RF1 & RF2 OUTPUTS This is the latest Sky+HD box from Sky. Stylishly designed in a dark (black colour) and is much smaller in size than previous HD models.

This is welcome upgrade to the original Sky+HD design, and the hard drive bump seems appropriate given the ever-increasing number of HD channels coming to the platform.

Superb product, the new box is neat and compact and the storage space is huge.
Excellent product, as described, got it to use as multi room.
Arrived as promised. It was then a case of plug and play. very easy from receipt to operation was no more than twenty minutes.
Easy to use and set up is a breeze. Quality of picture is grest. Great value for the price.
Box is slow and laggy, issue with hardrive; so can’t record or download. Regret buying now.

Picture and sound excellent. Very pleased and the extra storage space is also really useful.
HD picture on freesat so much better than on my old box- should have upgraded to this years ago.
Excellent product and quick delivery. Good quality box. Good picture.
Over time the recordings cancelled, now we have problems turning the box on. Tonight has been the last straw, the picture just froze.
The box itself is fine and was almost "plug and play", although the picture quality is not wonderful, being somewhat grainy and blurred by today's standards.

Without being connected to the internet the box will give you all your channels, along with the ability to record, pause, rewind etc.
This is great, does so much more than my old one. Huge amount of recording power.
You can easily hear the hard drive going around and irritating clicks etc going around.
Keeps failing recordings saying on demand not available have to do a rebuild to get it working again.
The TV guide only shows today and says unlisted for anything after. It says try later as the box is still initialising.

Excellent picture quality. Everything works as it should.
Very impressive picture quality and worked straight out of the box and was pretty easy to set up.
Arrived earlier than expected, perfect quality and clearer picture than my previous Sky box.

Picture seems super crisp and remote response is quick. Add that to 300 plus hours of recording and you have a great buy for the money.
As I prefer to connect my sky box directly to the router this box without WI-Fi looks pretty fine.
Time will tell in terms of reliability, but I'm sure there will be no issues.
Does not have Wi-Fi built in. It needs to either have an ethernet cable plugged in which is not good to me.
The only thing I have noticed is that the 0 key on the remote is a bit sticky.

Good unit, well made and performs well. Plenty of recording space for me.
This box came with full instructions to set it up and a HDMI lead and remote.
Product was in very good condition with new controller cables and HDMI cable.
It's perfect. Comes with hdmi cable. Very impressed.
The remote is faulty you have to be 2 feet away from the box to operate.

I can get a small Wi-Fi Connector box that plugs into the USB socket and can then take a signal from your wireless router which is nice solve to missing built-in Wi-Fi.
It was easy to connect to the Internet and my surround sound system.
Brilliant bit of kit, easy to set up, and easy to use. Just connect few cables and there you go!
Tried to connect with HDMI or SCART and in both cases worked well.
I'm disappointed there is no built-in Wifi do I need pull the ethernet cable from another room.

Easy to set up. Easily to connect to internet.
Very easy set up over all the connections and quickly be up and running.
Easy to set up, although HDMI lead supplied was faulty used old, one problem solved.
Excellent. Good price. Easy to install. HDMI connection is stable . Very pleased. Highly recommend.
It has only one scart connection while my previous box had two.
