Features such as backups, snapshot backups, etc, continue to improve.
The RAID 6 with hot spares is fantastic. It can email you when there is a problem, etc.
This is the most full featured NAS I have used.
This thing is super easy to setup and manage. Turning features on and off through the web portal interface is a breeze.
It's a full-featured, stand-alone machine. And it's the best file server ever.

Apps are still available for my Windows phone.
The NAS set up the drives in RAID1 automatically. Great RAID support.
The cloud storage for my files with synch, which works with the extra bit of software (Drive) you download from them. Great feature.
Loads of apps and features that I still need to explore including security camera monitoring and VPN.
Comes with an amazing array of really polished software for managing and publishing your data.

USB backup port. Fully configurable settings.
It has built in video capabilities and HDMI plus USB 3.0 in the unit.
It will handle hitherto unheard of quantities of data at similarly amazing speeds.
At RAID 5 configuration, my upload/download speed is around 350MB/s. Fast!
Still I highly recommend this unit. Good connectivity via LAN, USB, HDMI ports.
