Easy to use, set up and configure. Great features.
Whisper quiet while in use. Overall noise will be largely dependent on the drives you choose to use in your setup.
This is a good NAS. Software is good.
The DSM software installed on the unit's host computer offers numerous configuration options and utilities.

Fantastic transfer speeds when transferring files.
This thing was really easy to setup, the majority of the options are pretty straightforward if you have a little networking background. Great connectivity.
Transfer rates have been great. Across a gigabit ethernet router, it ranges from 60-90 MB/sec when transferring large files.
Easy to set up and secure. Transfer files is perfect. It's a good tool that does its job well and quietly.
One of the USB connectors stopped working after a week.
