I really love the look and feel of the unit, the IO, drive bays, easy of use, etc.
I am impressed by the Synology operating system, and the overall design of the unit is acceptable.
Easy drive install and basic setup.
The design of the disk trays is shockingly bad.
There is a 16TB limit on volume size. Web UI and read speed is slow.

The ARM processor is not the most powerful, but it's adequate for my needs.
Fast, quiet, great software. Great NAS unit.

Having 4x LAN ports for Link Aggregation is great.
Having 2 of 4 LAN ports being 10Gig ports is pretty impressive at this price point.
Easy to setup, very happy with my Diskstation. Fast transfer speeds.
The transfer speeds are quite quick. Amazing ports.
